Sick of Your Old Music? Fender Guitars and Apple Music Celebrate Emerging and Established Artists With Curated Playlists

Whether you are a die-hard music lover or just someone who enjoys whatever is on the radio, there is no denying that music brings us together, regardless of whatever might be going on in our lives. There is also something to be said about the music that we listen to and what it says about who we are as individuals. Victor Hugo happened to say it best: “Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent.” In other words, music has the ability to convey a deeper layer of ourselves which other forms of art may not accurately depict. And now, thanks to the digital age of music sharing and streaming services, we can listen to our favorite music anytime, anywhere.

Apple, however, has been embracing the new age of music by not only providing us with the ability to listen to any song from various genres and ages, but also by allowing individuals to create and publish their own curated playlists. Because after all, there is something special about tapping into the playlists of others.

Available on both iTunes and Apple Music (applemusic.com/fender), the 5 new playlists include hand-selected tracks that embody all things Fender and the celebrated artists that wield its legendary guitars. Spanning more than seven decades and countless genres, Fender’s playlists are just as diverse as the music the legendary guitars make. The curation includes playlists that will be updated consistently and include the following genres: rock ‘n’ roll, country/western, jazz, hip-hop and R&B genres.

The playlists: Shuffle – Today’s Hits; Roots, Rock & Twang – A Mix blending Americana, Country and Rock; Best of Under the Radar for up and coming Fender favorites pushing sonic boundaries; Best of the Rock You Need to Know with rock and bluesy tracks to energize your day; and finally, The Best of Everything Acoustic celebrating the acoustic guitar,  feature artists such as Diet Cig, BADBADNOTGOOD, Maggie Rogers, and Day Wave, to King Krule, Gary Clark Jr., Cage the Elephant, Brad Paisley, and many more.

With that said, you never know what new artist or song you'll stumble upon that could change your life, so be sure to head to the playlists to discover something new.

Happy listening!
